It provides students with structured workplace experience where they apply theoretical knowledge in practical agribusiness environments.
During WIL, students are placed in relevant agricultural and agribusiness settings such as farms,
agribusiness companies, financial institutions, marketing organizations, and government or development agencies.
This exposure allows students to understand how agribusiness operations function across the
value chain, from production and resource management to marketing and business administration.
Through workplace experience, students develop essential professional competencies including teamwork, communication, problem-solving, time management, and adaptability. They also gain experience in supervision, administration, documentation, and process management while learning to operate within real industry standards and expectations. WIL plays a vital role in preparing students for employment by strengthening their confidence, enhancing their practical skills, and improving their readiness for careers in agribusiness, entrepreneurship, and rural development.
